Non Reflective Window Tint's Solve Day/Night Reflectivity
Issues
For those who prefer a film with low back
shine (low reflectivity) look no further, Clearview
offers the clearest and most effective high-end / non-reflective window tinting available on the market.
The term Non Reflective Window Tinting can be considered several things, it all depends on what your needs are. A lightly coated Metal-Based (Reflective) Window Tint can appear non reflective but you lose on the performance level. We would usually recommend this type of tinting for glass that gets non direct sun exposure.
A Dyed Film can certainly appear non-reflective but it will almost certainly change color's on you within a short amount of time. If you have ever seen Purple looking film on automobiles or a commercial building chances are that the film is of a dyed construction. On some tinting materials dyes are mixed in with metal to help lower costs or the reflection on one or both sides.
Clearview specializes in Quality Performance Films, so unless you have a need for Dyed or Light Metal-Based films we recommend high grade Ceramic or Spectrally Selective Window Tints for your Non Reflective needs.
Clearview was the first to introduce the original Patented Multi-Ply Ceramic Window Tinting to the Greater Los Angeles area. Presently (2011) many manufacturers are now offering their own 'Single Ply' (non-patented) version of these popular films. Our original Nano Ceramic films offer the lowest visible light reflection giving the film a very natural earth tone hue and appearance and we're told over and over that they have outstanding overall clarity. A great choice for those that want a natural tinted look and especially coastline homeowners and businesses as Ceramic is an inert and inorganic material. This eliminates any possible corrosion issues due to the exposure of salt air.
Our Spectrally Selective WIndow Films are practically clear, some offer over 70% (VLT), the higher the VLT the lighter the film. Our 70% VLT Tints reject well over half of the suns energy. If you need some Glare reduction with superior Heat properties 40% (medium light) OR 35% (medium tint) Spectrally Selective Window Films are available.
As a side note: Spectrally Selective Window Tinting can also mean reflective. Panorama for instance has a Sterling Film that rejects most of the heat, allows 60% VLT, but high in reflectivity. These films are great for those that need privacy but don't want to darken the glass.
